i have embarked into a brand new year with a combination of anticipation, uncertainty and vagueness but am still so looking forward to it. definately not in the form of advancement in numerical numbers to my age, wrinkles or white hair but rather, the final semester of my uni life. not to say i hated my uni life. i actually loved it a whole damn much. but this bimbotic devil in me has been screammmminggggg " MAKE THIS THE LAST ONE! NO MORE EXAMMMSSS!!! "

i'll run havoc in you. kick ur veins, pull ur arteries, jumble your heart, kidneys and liver. major lamness i know. cut me some slack. its 2008. =)

on a serious note, being grown up, i guess meant quite different than i used to think 10 yrs ago. now, whatever we do seems to hold greater repercussions and consequences than probably just getting grounded for the next week or just spending late nights writing "i'll always remember to bring my text books" lines under the blanket with ya torch in the wee hours for fear of ya parents discovering your day's mischief. since young, we were told to 'pursue our dreams' only to discover later on that some have the luxury of that and some just dont. you just gotta learn to live with it. too bad for u. a starving artist fighting for his passion and belief is stupid while a understudy doctor is aspiring. thats just the way it goes. iam gonna be at the crossroads in months time. plans will ought to be compromised a little here and there as long as everyone's happy. but am i? or will i be?

as I look back at 2007, it has been a pretty contented one. all in all, excitement, fun, a couple of setbacks here and there, painful lessons learnt,. and new year resolutions for me if you’re wondering? iam finally against this typical routine of resolutions making. it’s totally pointless because they hardly come true. iam a full time proscratinator remember? making 2008 a year of personal growth for myself is probably the only thing on my mind for now.

despite the obstacles that i faced, the bittersweet moments, a fair share of angst, the rollercoaster rides, the happiness and sadness, the ups and downs, i did had a spanking 2007.

all the good things that happened should be cherished and remembered for life. all the bad things that happened should be left behind and buried for life.

as i read back my archives, the-jinpies-trilogy* i've realised that iam truly blessed to have my love, family and friends around, walking alongside with me through the ups and downs. biggest kudos to my family and miney who had never once given up on grouchy shiat me *at times* haha.

i often wonder, i’ve so many flaws but why would i be loved and needed as much as the significant other in her life? though i do not deny how much i enjoy being loved as her one & only. yet in the eyes of her, iam always perfect. i thank miney for that. for making me feel special.

i thank God for every moment with you. some people spend their whole life searching, but i think im already living it.

mahjonging on new year's day. that spells my luck literally.
